Black brown pour with mocha top. Smells of chocolate and brown sugar. Roasted malt flavor followed by sweet and chocolate goodness. Silky smooth on the palate and warming. It hits you after a bit; I would guess it is over 10%.

First to rate! On tap at Cloverleaf. This one is worthwhile. Pours a black color with a caramel colored head. Aroma of chocolate and milk. Has a sweet chocolate, caramel, taste with a nice bitter layer Very smooth and silky. Damn tasty. Damico (3147) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 27, 2011
Pours dark chocolate amber with a decent tan head. The aroma has light sweet malt and coffee roast notes. The flavors of sweet and creamy coffee and dark roasted malts blend so well on a decent thicker medium body. Delicious. hopdog (12816) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 28, 2011
On tap at Capone’s. Poured a dark brown, nearly black, color with a thin sized off white head. Aromas of roast, chocolate, and lactose. Tastes of roast, lactose, chocolate, and vanilla. r464 (2362) - Earth, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 8, 2011
Dark in color with a thin brownish head. Aroma is of malt and banana. Roasty, but a bit sweet and caramel like. A bit creamy, but not thick. Smooth and light finish. Some hints of chocolate, but more like milk chocolate than a bitter strong cocoa.

Black pour with no head. Oily mouthfeel. Aroma of lactose, roasted malt, and vanilla. Sweet flavor with lactose, chocolate, and vanilla upfront and some roasted malt underneath. Really good beer! Goodgrief (2050) - Middletown, Delaware, USA - NOV 26, 2011
On tap at Pinocchio’s. Dark, with a thin head. Roasted, milky aroma. Lots of roasted malt with some very mild milky lactic notes. Became more chocolate like as it warmed. Rich and creamy mouthfeel. Nice. Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - DEC 27, 2011
Serving: Draft at Fireworks. It pours a nice dark brown color with a small head. The nose leads with roasted malt and some milk chocolate. The flavor has that plus some flint, milk sugar, and an underlying fruitiness. Medium to full body with a lingering fruity finish. Definitely a nice brew and worth a try. radagast83 (8193) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - FEB 5, 2012
Tap. Poured an almost black color with a medium sized tan head. Aroma was sweet malts, with notes of roasted malts and coffee. Flavor was sweet, roasted, medium body - very enjoyable. egajdzis (6672) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 6, 2011
Dark brown / black with a small, light tan head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast, cocoa, lactose, vanilla, and some light coffee. Taste of vanilla, roasted malts, cocoa, vanilla, and a sweeter finish.
