Pour on tap, hazy brownish black pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of tart lemon, oak, red wine into a bit of vinegar, slight earth into a bit of spice, touch of dark fruit with a hint of cocoa. Pours dark thick brownish black with a beige head. A few years old on this guy brings the lambicus aroma with a smooth fruity tartness so nice in the nose. Flavor brings lighter tart notes, not puckering, with a decent candi fruit type flavor on a decent body.

Tasted on 10/13/13 from a corked and caged 750mL bottle sent to me as an extra in a trade, this one was a bit of a gusher. Pours nearly black with a very thick, tan head that slowly recedes to thin lace. The nose is primarily darkly roasted malt with sour and vinous fruits underlying, and just a touch of brett funk. The flavor is a bit more focused on the sour, vinous, and oak notes, but the roasted dark chocolate and coffee end up dominating in the end.
