Simply a bold punch of hops with enough body to give you something to enjoy. The unfiltered version is also a real treat. Jayb0 (1212) - Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA - MAY 9, 2013
Very good although I think I like the unfiltered version better. Dark orange with decent head, thick and hazy, looks good. Aromas of pine, bread and some citrus. The hops are dominant and, coupled with the fairly high carbonation, a little harsh. Still, pretty well balanced with a hearty breadiness and sweet malt. Drank better the second day when the carbonation dropped. djd07 (15285) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 11, 2013
Bottle thanks to Bruce. Pours a cloudy orange with medium frothy off white head leaving spotty lacing along the glass. The aroma is strong pine and floral hops. Medium mouthfeel with strong dry hop and light bitterness. A very good IIPA from Weyerbacher.

2013 bottle to snifter. Pours a light copper color with an off white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, yeast, malt and a some floral hops. Taste follows the smell with only a little bitterness and a sweetness that is caramel and grapefruit. A slight funk to the whole thing that someone described as a cheesy taste and that sounds about right to me. Medium, highly carbonated mouthfeel.

A hazy light copper with good head and lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit and caramel malt with bready yeast. Taste follows aroma with sweet malt and floral hops with a yeast adding a nice bread flavor in finish. Mouthfeel is medium/full with a crisp carbonation. Nice IPA that has a nice yeast component that is a bit different.

Light copper color with a finger of white head, murky unfiltered. Floral hop sweetness smell with some funky notes that I can't peg, maybe some kind of vegetables. Taste is pretty tame on the bitter, pretty carbonated, yeasty sweetness with some cheese like funk and maybe some grapefruit. Overall interesting, I don't like the bit of funk in there.

Pours a dark orange with a large off white head. Smells hoppy, piney and of oranges. Heavy body for an IPA and plenty of carbonation. Has a lot of piny hop taste with less noticeable citris elements. The hops have a strong bitter taste I however don’t like the taste this one leaves in my mouth. backdaft (286) - Menasha Red Light District, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 14, 2013
UPDATED: MAR 22, 2013 Bomber. Pours a deep rich burnt orange in color. Huge pillowy tan head that lasts all the way down. The aromas are intense citrus pine hops. Flavor is a blast of piney grapefruit hops... must be the Simcoe hops! The caramel malt balances well in this one; not too sweet. A touch of alcohol in the finish. Plenty of sediment in this one; it is unfiltered afterall. Full bodied and well carbonated. Absolutely loving this beer tonight! .... and a week later too!
