Bottle via trade extra. I uploaded the pic on this beer,as no one else could be bothered to. Apparently, this was only released in bottles at the brewery itself, which kinda makes it a one-off brewery only brew. MOAR RARE! which is actually kind of cool as a trade extra. Except that it was also on draft at a few different bars, which lowers it’s cred quite a bit. Anyways. Thanks to whomever sent me this brew. Much appreciated. alobar (3793) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 10, 2013
Pours a pretty deep black with a mocha colored head that sticks around. Aromas of powdered cocoa, some roast, some middling english type hops. Taste is bitter from both the roast and the hops and semi-dry, actually. Flavors of coffee, floral hops, roasted malts, some dry cocoa powder and a slight tinge of marshmallow. Really nice. Finish is roasty and very coating. I like this stuff a fucken lot. Would drink again, but unfortunately I will never get the chance, give that it will never be made again. This is top fucken notch.
Cola black pour with minimal tan head. Aroma of chocolate, dark fruit, and roasted malt. Chocolate flavor with hint of dark fruit, roasted malt, coffee, and smoke. Good beer. keanex (1799) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - JAN 18, 2013

Appearance: Pitch black, thin tan ring.
Aroma: Light cocoa and roasted malts, light spicy hop presence, and some fruity esters.
Taste: Light roasted malts and cocoa, some smoke, and spicy hops.
Palate: Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation.
Overall: Pretty bland, wouldn’t pay for this again, especially at $7 a pint.
On tap. Black with 1/2" cream colored head. Head retention was excellent. Medium mouth feel, I liked that it drank smoothly yet not as heavy as a stout. Hints mocha, the dark malts come through well, but don’t overpower. Finishes fairly balanced.

Draft... Pours black with a mid-sized, creamy, khaki head. Fantastic retention. The aromatics suggest charcoal and a freshly-baked, coffee-soaked brownie. Light to medium-bodied and a touch thin with airy, Champagne-like carbonation. The flavor is carbonic, burnt and medium bitter. Finishes crisp and acrid with a kiss of vanilla.

My final draft at Capone’s on Black Friday. Poured a very nice looking pitch black with a large foamy dark beige head. Aroma of dark toast, light chocolate and hint of coffee grounds. Medium to full mouthfeel with lighter carbonation. Flavor of subtle dark chocolate, used coffee grounds, and some dark toast. A very nice porter overall.
