Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold body with a small fizzy white head that vanished pretty quickly. The nose is lightly tart and sour with some lemon notes and a little bit of an acetic note. The flavor is a little lacking as far as the style goes. There’s not much in the way of brightness or tartness at all, it comes across as just a poorly made wheat beer. I want something that’s sharp and sightly acetic, but this has none of that. There’s a minimal cheesy note towards the back end, but not in a bad way. This might qualify as a Wild Ale, but it’s not a Berliner to me. Light bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Some light lemon on the finish. It’s not a horrible experience, it’s still pretty drinkable, but as far as style goes it doesn’t deliver. RobertDale (6751) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - JUN 24, 2013
12 ounce bottle at a sharing. Pours a somewhat hazy gold with a small white head. Aroma of fruit, malt, and grain. Taste is citrus, wheat, malt, and spice. Decent. closey22 (2031) - Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, USA - JUN 5, 2013
Pale gold with rimming off-white head; light aroma hint or rubber; Flava is light and semi tart with notes of grain; feels light not watery a bit flat; inishes dry and tart like lemons but not overpoweringly so ganache (6028) - New Jersey, USA - JUN 4, 2013
Tap ( I think it was 3.7%?). Pale golden with no head, though this has been on for a few weeks. Not sour at all, just a little bready. Has a nice yeasty-bready character, clean and super quaffable. Some lemon, light body, soft but not oily, just a pinch of hops way in the back. Gets the job done but not a BW, just no lactic character at all. On tap at Capone’s, Norristown. Well, rock on for the effort and the forgiving ABV. Lightest of orange pours, very minimal head. Nose is very muted, with lactobacillus there if you snort deeply, modest funk and citrus. Watery mouthfeel, and a taste that’s pretty washed out. Slight grain in the finish, just not nearly tart enough for my druthers.

Pours a hazy golden with minimal head that leaves no lacing. Aroma of light apples, hint of citrus, doughy. Taste is very light, faint citrus with a bit of unripped apples, light funk with a bit a malts. Low body and low carb. Definitly not something i would seek again. jandd1983 (4525) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - MAY 4, 2013
Sampled at DLD 2013. It poured a hazy pale golden color with an off-white head. The aroma was of orange zest, clove and hop citrus. The taste was citrusy and floral on the palate, with the coriander kicking in late. Very nice. keanex (1799) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - MAY 3, 2013

Appearance: This looks placid, clear golden body with almost no head. This resembles a cider.
Aroma: Apples, some funk, light tart, hints of malt. Very weak and not tart enough.
Taste: Light flavor, hints of apples, very light tart, some malts. Not enough character.
Palate: Light bodied, high carbonation.
Overall: This needs to have more character. More tart, more fruit flavors.
Draft at Capone’s. Pours hazy turbid gold with white head. Nose is tart, hopcitric, with bready pale malt. Tastes bready pale malty, tart but not tart enough for this style, with hopcitrus at the finish. hopdog (12953) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 29, 2013
On tap at Capone’s. Poured a hazy yellow color with a small sized head. Citrus, wheaty, and some bread. All around thinner with a lighter tart finish.
