On tap at GCBF 2016, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is fairly subdued on the spruce, with biscuity malt and only light earthy woodiness. Flavour is not very spruce-heavy and much fruitier instead, with some dry berries, biscuity malt and light spruce. Berries on the finish with little residual sweetness. Not sure what the point of this is; it’s okay.

Light spruce on the nose, with amber colour. On the palate, fruity and quite sprucey, the malts are biscuity, good balance. I like it. One of the better spruce beers I’ve had.
