On tap at the Royal Oak, Wirksworth. Golden. Color, good foam. Some fruitiness in aromas & light hops . Light body & complexity . Ok bitterness & balance. Pretty good beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pale coloured beer. Quite fresh and hoppy, but rather thin. The flavours are rather muddled and ill-defined, but that might be something to do with the condition of the beer. Cask (gravity), Battersea Beer Festival.

Cask in the Jug and Glass, Derbyshire. A golden ale with a small white head. Pretty thin and watery, but a half decent hop finish with citrus notes. Pretty bland.

Pretty average tasting beer - not what I expect when I plump for an IPA.- no real citrus notes, just an easy drinking session beer. Suppose the sub 5% alcohol should have tipped me off.

Cask ale by hand-pump, half at Flower Pot. Thin patchy head. Lacing to the upper part of the glass. Clear golden body. Discreet aroma of oily and grassy hops. Likewise the taste character is made up by mid-sweet hops and a touch of honey sweetness. Mid-dry ending. Pretty average (Derby 20.02.2015).

Cask @ Wilkes Head, Leek. Clear paler golden ale in colour with a thin head. Well balanced in taste with a heavier malt in its nose.

Golden pour with a white creamy head, quite creamy mouthfeel and some small bitter fruity hops in the finish, not much else. Average.

SilkTork (5946) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - FEB 15, 2004
Gravity @ the Green Beer Festival. Blonde ale. Very pale gold. A bit of gray metallic faint nothing in the aroma. Malt not fully brewed out. A bit rough. Hops undistinguished. Nothing comes through. Another Battersea failure. Allowance made.

Fresh nose, on draught. Amber colour, thinnish head which soon subsides. Oily mouthfeel. Taste predominantly malty. Rich tea biscuit. Slight citrus, expect more in an IPA. Pleasant, but not great.
