Sampled at GABF 2017 with Paul and Larry. Pours a dark amber body with off white head and lace. Mouthfeel is medium to thin bodied with notes of spicy yeast, lemon, apple and brett.

UPDATED: SEP 19, 2017 Can. Poured hazy orange copper with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate tart and barnyard yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sour & fruit sweet flavor with a medium sweet & sour finish of moderate duration. This is a interesting solid beer.

Can from Mariano's, Lakeside. Pleasant (not too strong) interplay of Belgian yeast and hops in the aroma. Massive soapy head and lacing with serious staying power. Taste is very nice: chewy brett gives way to some wood and cherry. Lovely clean finish.

This one poured a hazy dark brown with a moderately lasting white head. Perfumy, bready, and roasty malt well balanced with the hops. A good session beer in the style.

Whiner is a very consistent brewery that always has an interesting choice! Rubrique-a-brac is no different. Fantastic aftertaste with a sweetness and oak. Could see a good pairing beer with food. Reviewed: A Brew With You, Ep. 90

On tap @ Purple Pig. Hazy medium orange. Aroma of floral honey and plums. Spicy plums, light honey, violets, dry finish. By far the most elegant Biere de Garde I’ve ever had.
