Thick foam and strong maple scent. Creamy and sweet. The flavor is exactly as advertised, heavy maple and cardamom. It’s not especially dynamic but it’s tasty and brainless. Oakes (19426) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 23, 2016
Medium brown with a bubbly head. Massive maple syrup, maybe some toastiness. Really thin body, yet still sweet. Cardamom and a whack of maple, maybe vanilla...pretty artificial. Hate to say this, but needs sugars for the body. If you’re going to make a sugar shack beer, stop fucking around. Make it taste like a meal at Pied de Cochon. UXO (1896) - CANADA - APR 22, 2016
Appearance: clear brown with two fingers of fluffy light beige head, good retention and patchy lacing. (3/5) Aroma: chai tea, maple syrup, chocolate. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (7/10) Palate: medium body tending slightly to the watery, mild carbonation, short duration finish. (3/5)
Bizarre. Yes, it smells exactly like chai tea and maple syrup. And not a little bit: take a cup of chai tea, and dump in a few tablespoons of maple syrup. But, somewhat surprisingly, it’s not too sweet. Would probably work better as a dessert than as a beer, though - maybe over a nice scoop of vanilla ice cream. Poured from 650mL bottle. Medium-dark auburn brown with biege head. Aroma has a mix of spices and maple - a mild chai, some cardamom, almost a burdock and dandelion like spice. Flavour same with very mild nuttiness, dissipates quickly to a slightly watery finish. fiulijn (21511) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 30, 2015

Dark brown color, almost no head. Light aroma of maple and spices, a bit artificial like a donut. Dry mouthfeel, a bit of caramel flavor, maple, and light spices. The lack of sweetness doesn’t go well with the maple.
Not interesting, a bit weird.
Draft - Maple, vanilla and chai spices. Deep clear brown with a rich light brown head. Graham cracker, syrup, some clove and light cardamom. Weird for sure, but surprisingly balanced and not as bad as it should be. Tastes like a maple gingerbread cookie. weordie (1469) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - AUG 3, 2014
UPDATED: OCT 31, 2016 This pours a nice dark colour with a latte coloured head. The aroma is strong of maple. The initial taste is exactly as the name suggests chai tea with a delightful maple syrup aftertaste. I wish I could find this in the UK dfinney23 (3424) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUN 17, 2014
This one falls in that group of beers that I appreciate for being different, yet don’t really need to have again. It does have chai and faint maple notes but not much else going on.
