Murky amber with a thin head and visible carbonation. Aroma is grapefruit, while the taste gets more sugary and the grapefruit becomes just a citric hint. Hops gives a nice fry finish. More of a pale ale than a fruit beer as it isn’t too fruity, nothing amazing but tasty and refreshing.

Draft @ Red Racer. Amber and hazy. Really big grapefruit - not the most authentic, but bright. Bit yeasty, and a bit too much malt, but pleasant.

mcberko (18956) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 10, 2015
On tap at Nita Lake Lodge, pours a cloudy dark orangey brown with a small beige head. Nose brings out sweet grapefruit, like they added lots of citrus zest and sweetened it up. Flavour matches accordingly, with grapefruit zest and a sweet juicy quality. Not a beer of elegance but it’s easy to drink. Decent.

The aroma is strong grapefruit but the taste is only mildly fruity, with notes of sugar and grains, though the grapefruit taste grows more powerful with each sip. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled sample from happy Harry's. Pours cloudy pinkish orange with minimal head that dissipates quickly. Expected crisper taste. Was drinkable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Part of a BC Breweries Discovery Pack at the LCBO. The beer pours a hazed gold colour, with a very thin white soapy head, despite a vigourous pour. Aroma is caramel, weak grapefruit, and grass. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is caramel, weak citrus, weak molasses, and grass. If I was blindfolded while tasting this....I would have sworn it was a very thin Scotch Ale....that’s how much I notice the molasses taste.

brokensail (16645) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 31, 2014
On tap @ Tap & Barrel - Olympic Village. Sort of turbid amber color with a white head. Smells like sugar and citrus peel. A bit of caramel and bready malts. Kind of simplistic. Flavor is a bit on the sweet side. Sort of a mix of grapefruit soda and candies. Half decent bready malt...some caramel and sugar. Meh.

Bottle. Cloudy orange colour. Grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and sweet malt flavour. Medium bodied. Better than expected. Subtle, nicely balanced. Decent fruit beer.

I thought this was quite good. Pours a nice murky orange with champagne effervescence. Nice grapefruit aromas.. Not fake either.. Like sticking your nose in a fresh grapefruit. Flavors are bitter and refreshing grapefruit. A fantastic summer sipper on a hot day.
