3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
From bottle -Label evokes lumberjack imagery. Pours dark copper brown with nice head that thins out. Aroma of caramel malts and almost woodsy hop character.
First sip shows this brew to be well balanced. No particular flavour stands out, but makes for an easy drinking ale. Nice carbonation on the tongue. Good bodied malt flavour.
Overall this is a good patio beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Great amber-brown with a medium beige head that slowly dissipates into a thin ring. Aromas of malt, nut, dried fruit, hop and toffee. Absolutely wonderful sweet and bitter blend with a smooth palate. One of my favorites

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap @ Garibaldi Lift Co. Pours medium reddish copper with thin off white head. Aroma is lightly sweet oaky caramel malt. Taste is similar: decently rich chewy amber malt, only a hint of hops to balance. Nice and refreshing after a day of skiing, but pretty bland overall.

33 cl bottle @ wPBF Ⅲ
Aroma has sticky malty tones, ripe fruits and resin. Also wood and hints of minerals. Flavour has cardboard, mellow resiny hops and woody notes. Finishes with nothing. Aroma was promising but flavour is quite short and empty. Perhaps too old?
