Nut brown. Fruity, ashy, sweet and roasty. Medium bodied with mellow mouthfeel. A touch of syrup in the bitterish finish.
Slightly hazy copper-amber colour. Very caramelly and a little bit oxidized nose. This never went across the pond, so what gives? Caramelly taste with some pear/plum/apricot vague fruitiness from the yeast. The usual boring two-step of pasteurized English ale. jtclockwork (17069) - , New Jersey, USA - APR 20, 2017
