Bottle i purchased on clearance at least. Nothing particularly "farmhouse" about this. Very light all around, minimal hops and light malt flavor that lacks any intensity and comes though as very light on the palate without much flavor. snoworsummer (5698) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - JAN 25, 2015
From a 2013 bottle. Pours murky opaque copper with a fizzy white head. Tastes like toasted malt, caramel, some raisin and grapefruit, yeast, light dry spice. Smells like roasted malt, yeast, light raisin, dry toast, and light dry spice. sonnycheeba (5988) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JAN 25, 2015
Bottle. Pours murky copper/brown with creamy off-white head. Aroma is bready and caramel malts, pears, faint floral notes, and faint spice notes. Flavor is malt forward with light sweetness, faint hops, and a solid dose of yeast esters. Medium/full body and carbonation. manuelMTL (240) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 29, 2014
Pours a murky brown with a off-white head. Nose is Belgian yeast and a bit malty. Taste is lots of malts with a long dry bitterness. A bit flat and metallic. gopherfan99 (1832) - Minnesota, USA - NOV 20, 2014
Tap; pours a cloudy copper with an off white head; faint aroma of caramel, yeast, and citrus; taste is sweet with caramel, yeast, citrus, and a little hops; finish is dry; decent beer that has a bit of a Belgian feel to it

Bottle. Pours reddish amber white head. Nose/taste of baked bread, spicy yeast, fruit ester, rye, peppercorn and fruit cake. Medium body. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - MAR 27, 2014
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a deep dark amber colored body yielding a nice foamy very level off-white head that lasted for a good minute before gently dieing into the body. The body was too dark for any carbonation to be seen rising. Typical sediment of a saison at the bottom of my chalice.
The smell had some dark fruits up front with the typical farmhouse yeast with the added hay and spices.
The taste was dry with the same smells coming out and bringing in some plums and grains.
The palate was about a medium with some sharpness on the tongue, sessionable.
Overall, when I first had this I actually wasn’t really into saisons, but since this isn’t as bad some others I’ve had, I will say this, I’d have this one again. JDBaker11058 (2223) - Maryland, USA - DEC 1, 2013
Appearance: clear coppery red, with two fingers of near white head. Aroma: notes of caramel, toffee, rye, pepper, and a clearly Belgian strain of yeast that imparts a good does of barnyard funk. Taste: as the aroma indicates, almost exactly. Finish: full finish, but slightly muddled. Notes: This is better than average. The Belgiany yeast against pretty traditional amber/red ale flavors made for an interesting beer.

Draught @ Galaxy Hut, Arlington, VA. Pours slughtly hazy amber with small white head. Clear aroma of hops and yeast. Sweetish flavour of fruit, malt and hops. Rather rough aftertatse. OK but nothing to write home about.
