Une bière partagée par Frank. Merci!
shared with the missus. pours cloudy dark golden, almost copper, and dirty-ish with a nice off-white head, showing some retention and lacing. spicy toasted cereals, semi-sweet caramel, some fruitiness - spicy oranges, belgian yeast - fairly spicy, citrus, grass, pine needles, tingling booze and pepper. lively to average carbonation - looses it raqther quickly, light to medium body, relatively dry spicy-grassy-citrusy finish. alright. yidi (20) - okemos, Michigan, USA - APR 22, 2014
Orange brown body color with white head and good lacing. Caramel smells.
Slight sweet and bitterness after tasted. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - MAR 27, 2014
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a hazy golden orange brown colored body with a light one finger white head that appeared for less than thirty seconds. Some slight lacing appears and trickles down the sides of the chalice. It was too hazy for any carbonation to be seen rising.
The smell was balanced between the hops and citrus. Some caramel comes out but it is mostly faint along with the alcohol tones.
The taste was dominated by the hops yet some citrus came out trying to match up to the hops. The caramel is way more subdued in the taste than how it was on the smell.
The palate was about a medium on the body with a slight silkiness - possibly creamy, with a light carbonation felt.
Overall, I thought it was a good beer. Well, I would have it again and hope that I would have a fresher batch. MikeJslc (778) - Alabama, USA - FEB 28, 2014
Deep copper, murky, off-white head. Aroma of bready malt, a little spice, leathery note. Flavor: bready/nutty malt, a light sour note, some sweaty funk, hoppy notes muted.

Amazing balance. This beer has everything- superb hoppiness, fresh flavor, sweetness, and body. Does everything well. Savory bitter ipa to be enjoyed slowly. zebra (2308) - Illinois, USA - DEC 8, 2013
bomber, the last at deciccos. another winner from White Birch, even when not fresh. uneven buff head, malty, woody hops. i like that they have their own house yeast. bottle says bottled 12/10/10, batch 2, bottle count 978, abv 9.5%. crazyvin (2026) - New York, USA - NOV 24, 2013
An opaque amber body with a white head that had some retention and no lace. Citrus and pine hops some sweet malt notes. Some mild yeast. Flavor seemed unbalanced. The bitterness and grapefruit flavors seemed to conflict with the sweet malt which were close to sweet bread. Finish was smooth and the carbonation seemed a little higher. redlem (1306) - Ohio, USA - NOV 12, 2013
Belgian IPA. Slightly hazy honey color with a uneven medium white head. Aroma is a bit odd almost a English fuggle hop with some west coast rain fresh qualities. It is more east coast, refreshing, and tasty, yet not what I would associate with a Belgian ale, even an IPA. edgallow (4466) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 20, 2013
22 oz bottle pours amber with a white head. Aroma of pine, citrus, bread and malts. Taste is sweet malts and citrus.
