Thanks to my Greman-Irish connection for schlepping this over to the US in his luggage. Nice strong off-white head of varying sized bubbles. Vanilla and marshmallow are prominent in the flavor along with some light citrusy hops and mild sweet malts. Color is a hazy orangish brown. Lively mouthfeel with lots of flavor. Orange peel, roasted grains, tea leaves, mild bitterness and some bready malts. Quite a lot going on in there. little bit of alcohol presence to keep you honest. Slight astringent palate and is rather dry but the light bitterness/sourness makes the mouth salivate for more. The sweetness denoted in the aroma is not present in the flavor. A pretty good. I am interested in trying some more from this brewer. Guess I need a road trip to Ireland again!! :) anders37 (27898) - Malmö, SWEDEN - OCT 21, 2015

Clear golden pour, frothy white head.

Not as enticing as the other brews White Gypsy have on offer. Pours like a fine pale ale, but tastes very hoppy and bitter. Would definitely contemplate getting again, but only after sampling the rest of the series first. BoringBard (139) - NORWAY - JUL 18, 2013
Grapefruity and hoppy aroma. Lovely colour with nice white head. Hoppy and nice. Nice mouthfeel. ciaranc (1306) - Dublin, IRELAND - MAY 29, 2013
Lovely murky amber red in colour, huge lasting foamy head, looks the business. Big malt sweetness in the aroma, bread, fruit, raspberry, strawberry. Flavour is a slight anti climax after the lovely nose, all malt, more fruit sweetness, but lack of hop bite and a touch watery. Soft carbonation, sweet, perhaps overly sweet and sugary in the finish. Finally an Irish APA with the requisite sweetness and they leave out the hops! Cunningham (8577) - Halden, NORWAY - APR 2, 2013
