Clear dark brown beer, big aery fizzy beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, some caramel, cow fodder, mocha, grains. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very malty, sweet, gains, hay, more malts, somewhat bitter, burned and roasted malts. Aftertaste: malty, hoppy, caramel, pretty bitter, hoppy.
75cl bottle courtesy of and shared with 77ships.
77ships (9828) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JUL 26, 2015

ChrisOs Easter Tasting. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Palate is airy and a little thin. Mild fine carbonation. Dark chocolate tinged malts, slightly woody. Dry dark fruits. Mild spice. Dry finish. Not bad.
Bottle at ChrisO’s. It pours deep brown with a small beige head. The nose is bitter-sweet, juicy, roasted malt, cocoa, dark chocolate and ash. The taste is bitter-sweet, earthy roast, juicy, toast, wood, leather, light burnt notes and chocolate cake with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Well-rounded and rather drinkable. Decent. Leighton (21258) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 8, 2015
Bottle shared at chriso’s Easter 2015 tasting - London. Cheers to Colin for this one I think. Pours black-brown with a thick, tan foam head. The aroma holds milk chocolate and lots of ashy roast. Medium sweet flavor with subtle peat notes, some earthy bitterness, cocoa, smoke. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish with further chocolate impact, subtle maple accents, moderate ashy roast and scorched earth. Not bad. cgarvieuk (24515) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 4, 2015
