Bottled, 500ml from Morrison’s in Banbury. Hazy amber with white head. Initially quite a sharp, carbonated, metallic note. This settles into a fruity biscuity malt flavour, some light lemon, some baked bread-crust. It’s ok.

50cl bottle from the Romsey Beer Emporium Amber with a billowing cream head, and somewhat heavy carbonation; the flavour is malty with some assertive bitter marmalade; and a biscuity finish. Good stuff.

Bottled. Honeyish golden colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is fruity and floral hops along with some slight wooden notes. Flavour is caramel, rather vegetably bitter with some slight floral notes. Not that exciting.

Bottle from Morrisons, Banbury, Oxon, 29.08.11 consumed, shared with dad, 30.08.11 Pour amber clear as clear can be with a slim white head atop, looks great. Quite soft in mouth and despite being pasteurised (presumably) it’s not bad. Traces of marmalade, tangy and fruity, quite dry at finish, bid bitterness, it’s not bad at all. A6 A5 T7 P3 Ov14 3.5
