COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A golden colored ale with crisp malt character and a slightly spicy hop aroma. We use a good amount of wheat and some German malt in this one to give it a very refreshing taste. Avenue Ale is a true session beer, so sit down and prepare for a long one.

Average run of the mills ale from a brew pub, nothing great about the taste but it is not diapointing. Try the Daily Crisis IPA.

Dickinsonbeer (5073) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JAN 13, 2010
Tap at the brewpub. Pours a gold body with thin white head. Aroma is crackery biscuit malts, a bit of cereal and grass, some paper as well. Flavor is papery thin cereal malts, cracker, light pils, light biscuit earth grass and toast- a bit bland but overall fairly clean and no Diacetyl which is nice.

Finhead (1860) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - APR 23, 2012
A clear, golden pour with a white head. The aroma has light grains, but a little stale. It has a light, thin body, lively carbonation, and neutral taste.

Pretty neutral. Not bad no good. Slight pepper and maybe lemon. But kinda weaken everything. Hazy gold pour. Tap sample, wouldn’t have more

Sampler from the brewpub. Filtered and deep golden. Sparse white head. Slight aroma of bready malts. Smooth and crisp. Touch of soapy hops. Bready dry with a nice citrus hop flavor. Touch of honey in the malts. Decent.

2.8
illinismitty (2377) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 29, 2009
Draft at White Marsh. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma of fruity ale esters and butterscotch. Light bodied and a tad thin on the texture. Subtle toffee and caramel malts countered by a muted bitterness, and a soapy off flavor similar to the Honeygo Lite.

2.8
NomDeBeer (414) - Maryland, USA - MAR 10, 2009
Tastes a lot like their lite beer - corn, bread, and some sour yeast. Clear gold color. Not offensive - just lame.
