On tap at the brewpub. Not much on the aroma, but I quite liked this beer. Nice reddish appearance. Taste was very balanced and smooth, with some nice malty faint spiciness. Good one.

On tap 6/16. Very yeasty smell, light catbonation. Poured clear amber. Had a bit of a nut thing going but not much else

radio_nowhere (1472) - Maryland, USA - DEC 19, 2014
Draft sample at their brewpub, clear orangy-amber color with white head. Aroma of toasted malt, light caramel and a funky yeasty fruitiness. Taste adds faint nuttiness and unpleasant herbal off-yeast note. Light body, moderate carbonation, soft with dry finish. Something went wrong with this batch, glad I only had a sample.

hopscotch (11101) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 3, 2014
Nitro... Pours clear and dirty-orange with a mid-sized, white head. Fantastic retention. The bouquet is of toasted grains and light caramel accompanied by a hint of red apple. Medium to full-bodied with feather-soft carbonation. The flavor is subtle - mildly sweet caramel malt. Finishes malty and rich.

BeerandBlues2 (13321) - Escondido, California, USA - OCT 25, 2013
Tap at the brewery. Pours clear amber with a medium, frothy off-white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is toast and nutty malt, dates, pear esters and earthy hops. Flavor is malt and hop balanced, light esters and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Draft at the source. Clear amber color, white head. Aroma of caramel and black pepper taste us similar, with light toast.

gsmitty80 (2130) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 15, 2012
Red in pour with minimal white lacing. Taste was sweet with no real irishy flavored, just a malt. Not very good.

2.2
GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 11, 2012
Tap at Fire Station 1. Clear red amber we minimum beige foam. Nose is sweet, malty, nutty. Taste is sweet, heavy diacetyl, moving to astringent chemical and paper. Sub par. Okay lacing. Palate is bland, papery, sickly, medicinal. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Copper color. Weak fruity aroma. Sort of watery palate. Pretty pleasant initial taste... lightly hoppy. Long term sort of bitter tinged w canned good taste and a tad sour. Sufficiently drinkable. Cask version.

A clear, amber pour with a somewhat boring malt aroma. The light body has a smooth texture with average carbonation and a sweet taste.
