Bottle shared with Stefan and Lizzy and Louis @ Van Moll Brewpub. Hazy orange to reddish color, small white to off-white head. Smell brandy, nuts, vinous alcohol. Taste some malts, a lot of brandy, slightly sweetish, wine, wood. Decent body and carbonation. One of the decent ones.
330 ml. Bottle sampled @ O.B.E.R. Kestbierfestival 2014. (Thx!) Murky brown, little tanned head. Nose is sweet boozy, vanilla, oak; taste is lavender, bitter, soap, basic strong vanilla & bourbon sweetness. Soapy body. Actually decent esp. for this brewery. mmahut (1858) - CZECH REPUBLIC - SEP 28, 2014
Bottle, trade from Benzai. Hazy bronze color body with medium white creamy head. Aroma has light acidic character, woody touch in the background. Taste is much more complex, begins with high malty sweetness with sweet brandy after taste, woody, light vanilla, low to almost none bitterness. Body is full, medium carbonation. mikske79 (1786) - Puerto Plata, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC - SEP 5, 2014
Een bier dat goed ruikt en een heel uitgesproken smaak heeft, maar het is niet mijn ding.
