Bottle. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Smoked. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.

330ml brown bottle. Oily black pour with a noisy deep brown head that fades out quickly. Nose offers chocolate, roasted malt, fruity yeast. Taste - dark chocolate, coffee, cocoa, roasted malt, bit of licorice. Finsihes roasty with a bit of sweetness. A bit of alcohol heat in the chest afterwards, but not too overpowering. Drinks pretty easy for it’s strength, but overall it’s lack of intensity is kinda holding the score back. Worth a try...

Tap at Erzbierschof Zurich. Pours black with a brown foam. Aroma is milk chocolate, coffee, caramel, toffee. Body is medium to heavy, sugary, more roast flavours. Medium long palate, some sweetness. Good, but a bit weak for such an ABV.

Aroma is chocolate, toffee, fudge, honey and toasted oats. Much the same for the main body. Rich malts, chocolate and fudge. A light bitterness on finish. Appearance is a black body with a thin brown head that retains fairly well. Pretty smooth overall for a 10% beer.

330 ml bottle. Pours balck woith moderate tan head, Aroma of dark nutty chocolate, dried roasted malts, vanilla, and soy sauce. Flavors of slightly smoked roasted malts, chalk, nuts, chicory, and oily dark chocolate. Good enough, but for the price seems light and Imperial in ABV and name only.

330ml bottle pours black in color with a finger and a half of tan head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is chocolate, roasted grains and vanilla. Taste is a chocolate malty sweetness with the vanilla notes and a roasted grain bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall. an easy drinking Imperial stout that is tasty and quite enjoyable. Recommended.
