En fantastisk imperiel stout, som virkelig har alt hvad en stout skal have og mere til

tomekk1978 (1636) - Z±bki, POLAND - FEB 17, 2018
Aromat: alkohol, czekolada, kawa, nuty rumowe, melano, nieco utlenienia (sherry), ale fajnie zbalansowane.

Barwa czarna, nieprzejrzysta. Piana beżowa, drobno pęcherzykowa, umiarkowanej wielkości i podobnie trwała.

Smak: spora słodycz, lekka kwaskowość, alkohol. Następnie płatki owsiane, kawa zbożowa, czekolada, paloność, kukułki, melano. Goryczka alkoholowo-palona, adekwatna, bowiem skontrowana słodem. Pełnia wysoka, umiarkowane wysycenie i rumowo-alkoholowa końcówka. Całkiem przyzwoite.

330ml bottle. Pours an opaque black with a small, creamy, short lived, brown head that leaves spotty lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel, licorice and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel, licorice, ash and coffee with a dry, bitter, tangy, warming alcohol finish. Medium to full body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Good but not great.

330mL from International Beer Collector. BB 09/2020 Looks pretty much the point - pitch black, opaque, dense orange tan cream. Aroma of charred, burnt, ash roast malt, blackened sugar, booze, bourbon, vanilla, toast - gets better and better as she warms! A bit leaner than expected, dry, lean & oily ethanol character, touch acrid roast but a sweeter sort of affair. Fair promise on the nose doesn't translate on the palate - get some roast burnt edge character, plums, dark sugar, slightly boozy lingering, drying, slightly bitter. Flavours are very good just needs MORE body - damn!

RobBestwick (1002) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 29, 2018
Rich roasted coffee and licorice aroma. Black stout appearance with a dark brown head that eventually disappears. Sweet malty flavour with notes of roasted coffee, dark chocolate and licorice. Medium body, quite a slick texture. Long sweet finish.

Pitch black without head. Dark roasted caramel, alcohol, some spices, a bit monotonous. Finish is long, but a bit sticky
