DuffMan (10936) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 18, 2018
Bottle shared with Dave.Tawny amber hue with a soft golden head. Toasty caramel with sweet dates and fruity esters. On the simple side, but very tasty.

bonkiedeaap (861) - Leerdam, NETHERLANDS - FEB 4, 2018
Bottle from Dranken Verheyen in Poppel, Belgium. The beer is dark brown colored and a small creamy head, with good carbonation. The aroma is sweet malty with clear caramel, dark fruits, raisins but also yeast, bread, spices, biscuit and chocolate. The taste is full bodied and sweet and starts with sweet malts, dark fruits and caramel and goes to pretty bitter with nuts, spices and chocolate. The finish is light dry, pretty bitter and with some hints of alcohol. A little to bitter for a quad and a little alcoholic. Yet it´s still a nice one.

Bottle from Firefly, Vancouver
Brown color, small head. Sweet, with good malt and caramel flavor depth, toasted nuts, bold, full bodied, and hiding the alcohol very well; elegant fruity esters.
Excellent.

Oakes (19569) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 27, 2017
Bottle, Firefly. Medium brown and flat-looking. Lots of fruit - raisin, plum and apple, a thwack of alcohol, and hinting at some acidity. Sweet. Fruity - pear, apple and raisin. Very low carbo. Sugary but with just a touch of acidity that, along with the alcohol, provides much-needed balance.

cmacklin (1417) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 22, 2017
330ml bottle. Pours a murky ruby with a medium, creamy, long lasting, beige head that laces. Sweet aroma of bready malt, caramel, raisins, figs, plums and spice. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, chocolate, brown sugar, raisins, dates, figs, spice and a hint of hazelnut with a dry, slightly boozy finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. A tasty Quad. The high ABV is well hidden.

33cl pullo @Tuulensuu, BBE 6/21.
