Aroma classico dello stile, molto piacevole:frutta matura, cioccolato, calde note alcoliche. Gusto altrettanto piacevole e ben fatto, rispecchia tutte le componenti dellaroma. Birrificio molto molto interessante sicuramente da approfondire.

Dark reddish brown with a small head. Red fruit, dried plums, raisins, burnt malts, some salty caramel, anise candy, spices. Some additional sourness in the finish, together with a bit of alcohol

Rich golden brown. Not much head. Foggy. Aromas of raisin, molasses, date. Some hop aroma there if you really concentrate, coming from the herbal/floral realm. Taste is sweet, moving towards a bitter and boozy finish.

Caramel liquorice notes, brown colour. Quite sugary which hides the alcohol.

Mooi donker bier met crmekleurige schuimkraag die langzaamaan inzakt tot fijn laagje. Mooi aroma en smaken van donker fruit, pruimen, dadels, beetje vineus, licht likeurachtig. Lange warme, licht zoetige, afdronk. Stevige quad. Topspul.

Tap at Erzbierschof Zurich. Pours ruby brown. Aroma is dark ripe fruit, malty, not overly complex. Body is sweet, not overpowered, still fruity. Palate is rather short. Good.

330mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of Belgian spicy yest, some coriander, and lots of caramel. Flavour is very syrupy and somewhat spicy, with lots of spicy Belgian yeast, coriander, dusty toasted nuts and loads of caramel. Extremely malty and rather sweet, though the yeast and spicy elements subdue the sweetness a little. Unusual, but cohesive and well-rounded. Excellent.

Aroma is plum, raisons, caramel and candy sugar. Taste is rich dark fruits, caramel, honey amd a light tartiness on the tip. Fairly well balanced. Appearance is a hazy amber with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.
