Deep golden-copper colour, white head. Bourbon in all the way, with lot of ripe yellow fruits and spring flowers. Unfortunately I picked only two bottles of this one. Rubin77 (2665) - Brussels / Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JUL 12, 2015
F: white fluffy head but not long lasting. KombatAle (129) - New Brunswick, CANADA - AUG 31, 2014
C: orange golden/amber hazy.
A: bourbon, vanilla, alcohol, candy sweetness, fresh apples.
T: very complex taste from bourbon, some tropical fruit notes, hint of raisin, resin, very nice bitterness with smooth alcohol (decent warm) notes, hint of peppermint/thyme like tones, cherries and caramel on the palate, great hard to say something else, from beer temple in Bruxelles.
Expensive, strong bourbon aroma and taste, syrupy and warm, but just perfect. Their best beer! caesar (7332) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - AUG 5, 2014
UPDATED: AUG 6, 2014 Bottled from Bier Genot, large sample, Bourbon Reserva 2013, served in a trappist glass. Gushes out of the bottle and afterwards leaving a hazy amber colored beer with initially huge head, but quickly diminishing to a short lasting off-white head. Loads of tiny debris floating around. Aroma of bourbon, biscuit, alcohol, slight green apple, some caramel. Bourbon dominates quite a lot. Quite sweet in taste, big alcohol. Base beer cannot cope with the intense bourbon flavor. Its almost bourbon with carbonaton. A bit unbalanced. bièregourmet (50) - Mechelen, BELGIUM - JAN 27, 2014
33cl @ brewpub ’t Gaverhopke. Amber beer with a strong complex aroma of vanilla-bourbon, spices and fruits. Syrupy mouthfeel. Balanced very well between the bourbon taste and the beer taste that is however preserved, a lot of fruity notes, spices, vanilla and almond. Just perfect!

Poured a hazy orange/amber with a small off white head. Aroma of yeasty malt and alcohol soaked dark fruit. Full body, quite boozy, flavour of vanilla smoothness, caramel malt with the alcohol kick in the aftertaste. jmgreenuk (10104) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - DEC 18, 2013
Bottle at the Essen OBER Kerstbierfestival 2013. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is rich yeast alcoholic malt. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a rich boozy alcohol slightly medicinal oaky palate. The alcohol is very evident but it’s well controlled and does not dominate. I need a bottle of this! Bottle @ kerstbierfestival Essen. Orange yellow cloudy pour with small white head. Bourbon oak wood smell with some dried fruits. Bitter sweet taste, bourbon whiskey with a pretty heavy alcoholic warmth. Heavy and full mouthfeel with tingles. Starting to love barrel aged beers more and more. This is no exception. Fantastic! kermis (14716) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - DEC 16, 2013
Bottle sample at Essen Kerstbierfestival. Pours cloudy golden brown with a small tan head. Aroma of dough, yeast, oak and light floral aspects. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Big caramel on the palate and alcohol warmth in the finish. Full bodied with soft carbonation. 77ships (11304) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - DEC 16, 2013
33 cl. bottle sampled @ Kerstbierfestival Essen 2013. Golden white head. Nose is sweet vanilla, sticky, creamy bourbon mixed with zest, lemon, citrus, pretty interesting lovely. Taste is zesty, sweet vanilla, pretty sweet, sticky malts, plenty of creamy bourbon. Substantial body, little carb. Very surprised by this one & currently no issues, lovely, sweet bourbon-rich BE style brew.
