330ml bottle as part of six pack. Shaker glass. Deep dark brown with a tan head that doesn’t last. Rich sweet warm biscuit aroma and sweet taste. Don’t drink too cold or you will bypass the flavour. Great with an indian curry like tikka masala, but also good on its own. Good creamy mouthfeel with the a cleansing carbonation at the end. Medium palate, quite sweet to finish with just a hint of cleansing bitterness. Made by the crew at Little Creatures (now part of Lion) so it had to be good.
Note: Too often served too cold at a bar. Chilled is good, ice cold not, warm not good either. drjoeng (1291) - SINGAPORE - DEC 10, 2015

BOTTLE 33 CL. Clear chestnut brown, big beige head. Brown malts aroma, sweet dark bread - kind of like panettone crust - and citrus hops. The taste is similar - dark sweet toasted bread, moderate zesty hops. Simple, yet nice and balanced. stevoj (5045) - Boise, Idaho, USA - APR 5, 2015
Dark bodied pour with small wispy, airy head. Roast grains at the forefront, faintly in the aroma, stronger in the taste. Reminiscent of a German Schwartz or dunkel lager.
