Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield. Very pale yellow. A lagerish beer - quite dry with a pleasant balance. Modern style. Nice enough. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 4, 2008

The fifth beer in a row that I am going to describe as pale gold with a thin white head. I was getting a bit bored at this point but thankfully this one stood out a bit. Sweetish earthy malt with some decent bitter hoppage. Really drinkable with a good bitter finish. Good amount of character for a 3.9% abv. Nice and dry on the palate. Decent.
Cask at the Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield, on RateBeer Valley of Beer Crawl ’08. Thanks to SilkTork for this . Gold with a sweetish hop aroma. Citric taste and a mid bitter finish. Quite good on a warm day in the Valley, but so predictable.
