Bottle 75cl.
Clear light to medium yellow color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate honey, flowery, oaky. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. (190608)

Papsoe (25055) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 23, 2008
(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of Skyview. Clear pale golden. Tart and floral aroma. Surprisingly light-bodied with lovely accents of flowery honey, but also a rather synthetic edge of glue. But overall quite refreshing and not cloyingly sweet. 190608

Very pale color, almost transparent. It has a strange aroma: plastic, sweat, chicken, manure, perfume. Medium sweet flavor, a bit fruity with a light citrusy acidity at the end. If it was not for the weird aroma it would be a quite good drink.

Grovlam (4257) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 20, 2008
Bottle. [After party @ Papsoe, thanks buddy] Pale yellow color with an oily like lacework in the glass. Aroma of flower, mild raisins and honey, mix of mild spice, hint of alcohol. Over the palate came herbal and mild floral notes with warming alcohol and honey. Medium to full bodied with a flat carbonation and thick mild alcoholic texture. Moderated sweet flavor. Herbal spicy honey sweet lingering finish. 7 / 3 / 8 / 3 / 15

RBSG 07 Minneapolis Grand Tasting: Pellucid beige, nose of dry ammonia and apple, honey and wood. Chemical smell overwhelms, lots of bandaid. The flavor is semi-sweet, honey, medicinal, planty, finishes grassy and floral. An ok mead.

MilkmanDan (1942) - Eagan, Minnesota, USA - SEP 30, 2007
Had this right after having the execrable White Winter Hard Pear; this is better, just not as better as I’d like. Light yellow. Nose of honey, honey, and more honey. Very sweet (yet more honey), but an odd chemical undertone, like glue or something.
