Hotel, Belfast. Amber coloured beer with a strong off white head. The aroma yeasty with toffee notes, and the flavour is gently roasted with yeastiness and toffee. Overall an average beer.

Bottle. Hazy ochre to amber body, mediim white head. Aroma of bread, malts, homey, nuts. Taste is moderately bitter, neutral. Malty with rich tones of biscuits and bread crusts. Touch of caramel and fruits. Light to medium body, average carbonation.
Good ale with high drinkability.

Cask at the Crown, Belfast. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy off white head. The aroma is sweet malt, light woody hop. Bottle. Pours a dark brown colour with a slight white head, aroma is malty with some hints of fruit and toffee, the taste is medium bitterness with some roasted malt coming through, with a dry bitter finish.
