TimE (6131) - Tokyo, JAPAN - JUN 12, 2011
Light mildly sour, corn and grain. Nothing special, but a step up from the average mainstream lager

Dervock (1452) - AUSTRALIA - APR 4, 2011
Bottle - slight malt aroma with some floral aspects. Sound malt flavour with a hint of hops, nice finish.

Oakes (18873) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 27, 2011
Pale straw. Slightly herbal aroma. Crisp hoppiness, herbal and slightly floral. Light body. Refreshing. Good for what it is.

Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 10, 2011
Draft @ White Horse Inn. Very pale gold/straw. Sparkly with scattered lace. Smells fresh and flowery. Thin and light body. Cold and carbonated. Not the most flavorful beer but very refreshing and nice crisp grassy finish.

Bottled, from Bull and Castle, Dublin, Ireland. Hazy pale golden, creamy head. Citric nose. Sweet and creamy, medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Hop aromatic with some tropical fruits. Medium bitterness. Pleasant, if sweet.

500 ml bottle from Tesco. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white eggshell head. The aroma is sweet hay and grains. The flavor is nice; a light refreshing lager, no frills, grainy and light honey. Malty.

culchiem (4155) - Berlin, GERMANY - JUN 21, 2010
Bottle from McHugh in Artane. Dark golden colour with a white head. Gentle aroma of hops. Slight bitter aftertaste

As much disdain as there is surrounding lagers in general, properly executed lagers provide a great all-rounder. This is one of those lagers. At home anywhere.

Golden coloured body with a light creamy glow and a very nice thick (two centimetre tall) off-white head. Aroma of corn, lemons, oranges, light hops and a touch of metal. Light-bodied; Sharp malty flavour with lemons, metal and some cardboard comes through. Aftertaste shows a light fruity flavour with a subtle hoppiness too. Overall, not such a great beer - fairly mild in flavours, but not horrible tasting at all. Worth a try if you can find this - I thought this was a common find, but it doesn’t look like it is - nice! I sampled this 500 mL bottle purchased from McHughes Off-License in Dublin, Ireland (Republic) on 20-February-2009, sampled at home on this side of the pond in Washington on 08-February-2010.

Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of hops and spices - among them ginger. The flavor is sweet with notes of cardboard on a lightly malty back ground, leading to a dry finish where the cardboard note lingers. Thanks KimJohansen for sharing.
