Kings Arms Upnor. Clear golden ’summer’ ale that maintains its light head well. I’m half way through this pint and so far I’m pleased with my choice. Quite happy but not overly so. Maybe a little cloying aftertaste but happy to order a second one. kwik-lime (1915) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 23, 2014

Cask conditioned handpump Malt Shovel Northampton 28/08/13. An orange gold coloured beer with barely any head. Some orangey citrus hops and sweetish malts. Nicely balanced and sessionable. Perhaps a bit too safe. imdownthepub (14473) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 3, 2012
Cask conditioned at The Queens Head, Icklesham, East Sussex. Gold with white head. This was a light, slightly grainy sweetish Golden Ale, some fruitiness, reasonably flavoursome, good on a warm day on the 1066 Footpath. planky84 (3215) - Lee, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 1, 2011

Market Porter. Golden pour with a creamy white tight head. The aroma is very bright and citrusy with a bit of herbal character and some light lemon peel. Very fresh and zesty. Quite a lovely bitter. Dry and peppery.

Cask - Unicorn Inn, Canterbury. A clear golden orange with a very fine, bubbly off-white head. Aromas of grassy, floral hops, light toffee tones and a slight fruitiness. Moderately sweet flavour profile: fruity and floral with a rounded bitterness that finishes well with a decent length finish. Fresh and crisp, though slightly on the thin side in terms of body.
