Probably drank this a bit too cold so it went down quick and easy enough. Slightly hazy copper body with a decent head that wanted to hang around. Good nose, dusty, hops and some malt. Taste is straightforward, hops again more than the malt, moderate bitterness and carbonation, sediment, a bit of lemon on the finish. wyzzywyz22 (2108) - Wirral, Merseyside, ENGLAND - JUN 22, 2009
Bottle, Morrisons, West Kirby. Dark amber with a decent head. Malty aroma, nothing too enticing. Some nice hoppage in the flavour, which was well balanced and finished dry. Much better than anticipated.

Bottle. Copper with a thinning white slick. Nose of soil, rust, hazelnut yoghurt and Darjeeling. There’s some decent malt and hops in there, buried in yeasty weirdness. Ash and chocolate orange sprinkled with grass cuttings and clove. Nutty like broccoli, crumb of pistachio. Odd but not unpleasant like most BC English beers. You just have to grit your teeth and get on with it. hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 28, 2008
Thanks to Chris and Judy for this bottle. Copper amber with a white head. very hazy, full of sediment. Malty aroma, rather vegetal with a little burnt chocolate. Musty, rather indistinct taste with some sourness and slight bitterness. Many disparate elements here, not really working together.

Light light unclear light to medium amber orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dusty, old malt, cream caramel, toffee, buttery. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (070808)
Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Lightly hazy amber, enormous rocky head. Orangey yeasty nose. Lemony and light bodied, lightly minerally. Though the bottle stillis young the beer already shows cleafr signs of beginning infection. Finishes lemony with an unpleasant acidity. espenra (1016) - Kurland, NORWAY - OCT 18, 2008
50cl bottle. It poured an amber colour with a huge foamy head that settled down slowly in the glass. It has a very hoppy aroma that also smells of oranges. The flavour is slightly bitter and tastes of caramel and oranges. It has a short aftertaste. wheresthepath (2351) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - SEP 28, 2008
[500ml bottle from Three Choirs Vineyard shop] Gift from Mum & Dad - cheers! Moderate white head, some carbonation (about right for the beer). Good floral hops, some malt, a little earth and maybe some sweet orange. Well balanced with an interesting mix of flavours - I would have liked more of this. Could maybe do with just a hint more bitterness though. Nekronos (4174) - Xalapa, MEXICO - SEP 12, 2008
The clip is funny. BUt not enough to make me love a bitter. It was good and foamy. I had it at GBBF 2008.
