[email protected] Amber colour, small head. Aroma is vanilla, wheat, some sweet wooden notes as well as mild caramellyness. Flavour is caramel, wood and mild notes of vanilla. Wellbalanced and pleasant.

Cask at GBBF 08. Slightly hazy dark amber with a great flowery and earthy scent. Smooth and very flavoursome, this is a very good bitter.

500ml bottle (Sainsbury’s)
Roast vegetable aroma - even burnt cabbage. Fizzy and a bit watery palate. Quite burnt taste, but can’t shake off the sprouts and asparagus. Ashy and almost smoky in places. Not unpleasant, and quite characterful, but not really pressing my buttons.

Bottle 500ml from Sainsburys, Christchurch, Dorset. Slightly hazy amber pour with a medium tan head. Distinctive pear drop aroma. Taste of burnt coffee beans with a bitter aftertaste. Quite a thin mouthfeel, though.

Rune (13200) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 20, 2008
Bottle conditioned. A very lively product than came very fast out of the 500ml bottle. Hazy, dark orange body. Good white head retention and glass-lacing. Sweet fruity aroma of apples and oranges. The flavour is a pretty god mix of sweet caramel and rounded bitter orange peels that lingers into the finish (Oslo, 17.01.2008)

Bottle. Hazy, orangey amber with a big offwhite head. Sweet flavours and aroma with hoppy grassiness. Quite nice, even if slightly on the sweet side.

OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 25, 2007
500 ml bottle. A lively reddish-golden beer with a grey head giving away a fresh and citrussy hop aroma. Scents of wood and tobacco. Dry and light malty taste with a fair amount of mild bittering hops. Slim body. High carbonation level. Short, dry and light bitter ending. Easy drinking.

3.3
KnutAlbert (6763) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 20, 2007
