UPDATED: AUG 29, 2017 Pours a deep red with a frothy tan head. Roasty malt aroma with nuts and toffee. Taste is similar with strong roasted, earthy flavor, pretty nutty and a bit milky. I would have thought this was a nut brown if I didn’t know better. Palate is a bit creamy. snoworsummer (6507) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - AUG 23, 2017

Can. Head is initially average sized, frothy, light brown, mostly diminishing. Body is medium to dark brown. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain/bread, roasted nuts, coffee), lightly hoppy (herbs), with light notes of toffee and vanilla. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Pretty watery and a bit bland in the mouth, but the malty aroma is pretty decent...nice nutty/coffee/bread-crusty aromas. onceblind (11511) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 29, 2016
Clear dark Amber hue with a very sticky light tan head. Lovely nose of semisweet cocoa and biscuity malt and an earthy nuttiness. Crisp and amberish body on the flavor with a fine nuttiness and light toffee undertone semisweet and lagery and light chocolaty/caramelly.
