Growler poured a clear reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of rye, earthiness, pine and light grapefruit. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Big body from this dark amber ale. Certainly can taste the rye spice and malt base. Alcohol is not very apparent though. Good beer.

Tap - small foamy head, very dark brown/amber color, sweet rye aroma and flavor - this is definitely the dark, thick rye kind of beer (vs the some which are very light), thicker mouthfeel, definite rye/whisky taste
