Standard amber/copper colour. Rather cloudy. As others have remarked, this had a very sulphurous aroma - maybe more down to the condition than the beer itself. Some citric hop in the flavour and a rather sharp, bitter finish. Drinkable, but not great. Cask (gravity dispense), Bedford Beer Festival 2004.

BF. Eggfart and sulphur in the aroma, some light lemony tang inthe finish, a bit grainy and thin aswell, perhaps this one wasn’t in good condition.
Cask conditioned - Gravity Dispense - Bedford Beer Festival. Really uninviting sulphuric aroma to this hazy copper coloured beer. The taste though is better with some good thick sticky hop flavours but there is a throat grabbing acidity. Curious. Joeh (2049) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 6, 2004
Cask Conditioned at the Bedford Beer Festival 2004 (Wednesday Session).
Fairly malty, roasty & sulphury bitter. Not so great
