Amber pour with aroma of dark fruit, candii sugar and yeast. Very sweet with candii sugar and dark fruit, some spice, and a hint of red wine. Very good.

Dark brown w red highlights. Smells and tastes fruity and sweet more than funky or tart from the foeder. Just a hint of tartness, with pronounced yeast, plum, berry and lots of candi sugar. I enjoyed this, but it got it's share of hate at the tasting.

On tap at the Pour Taproom in Greenville. Pours with a very dark reddish-brown colored body that has some clarity. It’s topped with a short, semi-durable, beige head. Aroma: complex mix of dark dried fruits, red wine and light spices. The flavor largely follows, with a more pronounced impact of the red wine barrel aging. Mild bitterness and lightly tannic.

375 ml bottle shared with Tmoney99 and the Dutch’s crew. Pours a dark brown color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have mildly tart fruit, candi sugar, caramel, wood, some vinous character, red wine character, softer than most of their sours, no sign of the abv, interesting beer.
