Pours near black with a frothy tan head. Nose is a rich mix of chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, coffee, and light oak. The flavor is similar and well balanced with lots of vanilla and white oak accepting a sticky backside. Maple is only slight. Very good stuff.

Pours black into a snifter. Mocha head with medium retention recedes to coat surface. Chocolate, maple and vanilla aromas. Thick with sweet hot maple syrup and chocolate upfront turning to dry cinnamon in the medium length finish.

bhensonb (16120) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 10, 2017
Capped 750 from Modern Liquors in DC. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of bourbon and cinnamon. Med +body. Flavor is maple, cinnamon and bourbon. Somehow it’s very like French toast with a little maple syrup on it. Some wood in the background. It’s not wholly dry, but more than expected. Ok, not very dry at all. Nice flavors. Very different.
