From a 50 cl bottle purchased before the Ab-InBev fiasco. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Vinous aromas. Flavors of white grapes, green apples and funk. Pretty tasty stuff.

The aged hop one. Some pine flavors from the hops are a nuance on this strong yet balanced sour beer. Very nice. I like this practice of hopping tart beers.

500ml bottle. Tart citrus fruit aroma with red wine vinous notes as well as some Brett funk, lactic and oak characteristics. Pours opaque orange colored with about one finger of off white head that has good retention and lacing. Starts with tart orange and red wine flavors. Finishes dry with Brett funk as well as lactic and a little bit oakiness in the flavors. Another solid sour from these folks.

Sample at the Funkatorium. Hazy copper color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of tart fruit, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of funky grapefruit, yeast, oak and malt. The finish is funky and tart with a citrus and yeast aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Sampler at funkatorium. Pours golden with a white head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Solid fruit notes on the nose. Tart and crisp on the tongue. Finished clean. Solid sour from these guys.

Dark orange color with off-white head. Aroma is funky with nice farmhouse character and unripe fruits. Taste starts sour, quite dry, rustic, funky but not too yeasty. Medium body and carbonation. Overall it’s really nice gueuze style sour ale with balanced funk and sourness.
