COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This traditional saison is brewed using North Carolina grown barley, wheat and rye from Riverbend Malthouse and is open fermented. The beer is then finished with Brettanomyces and bottled. Drink it fresh, or let it age and bring out the funk.

Bottle from Smith’s. Turbid straw pour with off-white head. Nose was hopcitrus, yeasty funk. Tasted tart, not too tart, like a yeastier, funkier blonde ale.

Bottle shared thanks to svartvit. Hazy very light golden with white head. Sweaty socks, Brett, quite herbal, soft lemon peel, paper, peppery saison yeast, some sweet dough. Light sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with present but soft carbonation.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of Brett, yeast, citrus, slight grass, manure, foral, citrus. Taste is rather sweet, with loads of Belgian yeast, spice, brett, foral, slight touch of marzipan.Mellow and balanced. Good yeast.
