Tap @ Copper Penny, Wilmington. Golden with a small head. The cucumber is light but effective giving the saison a good floral-like twist. geologyguy (1602) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - JUN 16, 2017
Smell is like blue moon...taste is more peppery than I thought and not as cucumbery....like they brewed with peel only... interesting...smooth with some complexity but misses a bit on mouth feel.. and flavor only ok...had at flying saucer with John ordybill (1758) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - JUN 12, 2017
Poured from the tap into a tulip glass at Varner’s in Smyrna, GA. The appearance is a mildly murky golden color with a small white head. The aroma is mildly scented spices, cucumber was not present to me. The taste was a very mild basil and very slight cucumber taste. An excellent beer.

9 day old bottle > weizenbock.
ABV is 5.5%.
A: Clear bubbly appearance with a short fast-falling bubbly head.
S: Malty smell with botanical notes. Basil is subtle. Juniper more pronounced. No cucumber to speak of.
T: Much like the smell with an almost smoky malt flavor. Cucumber slightly more noticeable than in the nose. Basil seems lost in the juniper at the end. No discernible hop notes. Actually pretty good tasting.
M: Low carbonation, medium body and wet finish.
O: A pleasant surprise, better than I expected. Additives are not overdone and it actually tastes like beer. SHIG (4962) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - DEC 18, 2016
Bottle: Poured a golden with white head. Aroma is funk fruit and cucumber. Taste is nice wet cucumber.

12 oz. bottle purchased at Leary’s Fine Wine, Newburyport. Bottled: 7/28/2016. Hazy golden color, thin white head. Aroma is mild Basil, light Juniper, and even some mild cucumber. Interesting.chinchill (4978) - South Carolina, USA - OCT 3, 2016
The flavor really reflects the cucumber note with the basil and juniper giving an herbal finish. Lightly earthy. Body is light, has a crispness, and is more refreshing then I was expecting. Very drinkable and creative.
12 oz bottle from GA served with a baked chicken and spinach sandwich.
Look: Hazy golden body with plenty of visible carbonation leading up to a moderate size but durable white head.
Aroma: very floral; moderately herbal and fruity, and, in a good sense, lightly vegetative.
Flavor: mildly bitter. More basil here than cucumber.
Feel: pleasing light-medium body with medium-high carbonation.
Overall: refreshing; innovative; Good complexity in both the nose and the mouth. Should work well with many flavorful foods. tfontana (962) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 1, 2016
Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Julio’s Liquors. Appearance is hazy yellow-orange with greenish tinge, noticeable sedimentary floaters, decent sparkle, with finger-width white foamy head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is basil/herbs, light pepper, allspice, juniper berry and mild cabbage. Taste is dominant basil/herbs with lighter juniper berry and pepper middle and cool cucumber at the finish. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, lively carbonation and cool cucumber, cracker malt, juniper berry finish. Overall, this is a one of a kind flavor experience. It’s refreshing and works well for the most part. jw0406 (1275) - atlanta, Georgia, USA - SEP 19, 2016

Bottle. Cuke in the aroma. Flavor is faint but there. Dominated by the Belgian style yeast and light crisp malt body.
