Draft at Craft Brewed Wicked Weed event. Pours a clearish gold witih a small bit of white foam. Lemon, tropical Brett nose....passion fruit aroma. Tart on the palate, creamy, some oak. Bottle from Brewdog bought online. Pours clear golden, with a loose white head that disappeared. Aromas of white wine, peach skin, fruity, light funk. Taste is sour, acidic, floral, white wine, oak. Light and thin white head/lacing that disappears quick. Hazy yellow body.
Nose is fruity, expected a little bit more fruit, but it’s mixed very well with the funkyness almost dominating shortly followed by the fruit.
Flavour is balanced tart with some funk/wild bacterias and more fruityness. Even little earthy and crispy wood tones seem to suface gently.
Aftertaste is earthy fruit tones with light funky and wild yeast tones.
Low to medium carbo, tart mouthfeel, good medium bodied!
Maybe not the most exciting beer but it finds it’s balance and it’s refreshing.
Good example of American sour!

On tap at Hops & Pie. Pale golden and slight hazy appearance. Aroma of tropical fruit, sour funk, light zesty hops, earthy yeast and light vinous notes. Similar flavor, tart, fruity and mildly sour with a lingering, light dry finish hinting at toasted oak. Light to medium body with a refreshing finish.
