3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Growler from my awesome mother-in-law. Pours a light clear orange with a small white head. Nose of orange and a bit of grapefruit, with lots of pith. Resiny notes that settle as it warms. Slight tropical notes from the Amarillo hops. Crisp and relatively light for an IPA. Slick palate.
Pours a two finger off-white head that fades very slowly leaving a good lace. Hazy amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Grapefruit nose and flavor follows, grapefruit hops, not finding the blood orange. Not as hoppy as some IPAs. $3.90 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma. rdixon77 (3106) - Georgia, USA - AUG 11, 2017
Thanks Carl! Fine IPA that was big citrus hopped - lots of grapefruit. Medium body and bitter finish. Solid. drowland (9184) - Georgia, USA - AUG 3, 2017
7/30/17. Bottle thanks to Carl! Orange pour with a nice khaki head. Hoppy and fruity aroma, citrus, orange, grapefruit. Good flavor, citrus, orange, grapefruit, a touch of cattiness. Not bad. scotchzombie (621) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - JUL 5, 2017
Pours slightly hazy orange gold with a soapy yellow-white head that burns off slow. Aroma is sweet orange citrus and floral hop. Mild but super tasty. Tastes juicy and soft on the palate. A touch cloying. Noticeable malt with orange citrus and mild grapefruit bitterness to close. Not for the bitter-minded, this one is juicy. Unique.

UPDATED: JUN 6, 2017 Tons of hop character but bitterness is kept to reasonable levels. Bright zesty grapefruit aromas. Lightly sweet malt backbone props up the juicy citrus flavors. Mildly carbonated. Clear deep amber pour with a frothy one finger head. Plenty of lacing. Tap at Tipsys High Point. ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - MAY 21, 2017
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a mildly murky dark amber color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is full of floral and pine notes. The taste is citrus and pine. hopdog (13191) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 25, 2017
Bottle. Poured a hazy golden color with an averaged sized head. Pine and citrus. Ratman197 (15616) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - APR 25, 2017
Bottle poured a clear golden amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of bread, light grapefruit and light orange. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, grapefruit and light orange with a smooth dry lightly bitter lingering citrus finish. More of a pale ale in my opinion. I think the Hop Burglar stole all the hops from this one! ajnepple (7342) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - APR 24, 2017
12 oz single bottle from Molly’s Spirits. Clear golden appearance with a fluffy white head. Somewhat mild aroma of orange peel, grapefruit, zesty hops and toasted grain. Similar flavor, adding mild bitterness, light malt sweetness and a hint of acidity. Medium body with a smooth finish. Not bad.
