Malice is the land between sour beer and Brett beer. The beer was brewed with over 100 pounds of tamarind, blood orange, and lime zest. Dirty straw orange in color, it’s bursting with earthy funky tartness and finishes with heavy citrus skin and tart citrus. The land between is so good!

Draft at Brookland Pint, Washington, DC. Served in a little snifter. Arrived at the table a clear amber with a skim of a beige head. The aroma featured some interesting citrus qualities, some light graininess, and a tough of Brett funk. The tamarind, blood orange, and lime really added some uniqueness aroma-wise. Went down thin to medium-bodied. The taste was as equally interesting as the aroma - blood orange juice, tamarind, limes, zesty citrus rinds, wheaty grains, a dash of spice, and a yeasty Brett funk dominated throughout. Interesting.

Pretty big bretted farmhouse up front followed by more sour type taste with the citrus and tamarind adjuncts shining through. Funky and earthy. Pretty tasty. Thanks Carl!

This beer starts with a big nose of Brett and the flavor follows suit. Some of the adjuncts seem to get lost or overpowered by the yeast strain. The tamarind does come through although subtly in the finish whereas the blood orange and lime zest are faint at best. Over all a good brew but probably not worthy of the hefty price tag (Mine was $14 for 500ml)

Slightly hazy orange color with off-white head. Aroma has some overripe stonefruits, light grape vinegar and some farmhouse notes. Taste is fruity, quite tart, dry with some nice floral farmhouse notes. Light body, high carbonation. Overall it’s a quite nice, easy drinking wild ale.

A farmhouse and sour blend and taste like it. Probably had some off batches they just threw together so they're not wasted. Nonetheless, it's the Weed so it'll be great no matter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Niezbyt udany wypust WW. Kwaskowate, brettowe, ziołowe, trochę przypraw. Gdzieś tam w tel cytrusy, wychodzące bardziej po ogrzaniu. Pijalne, ABV mało wyczuwalne. Lekko wodniste.

19.03.2017, 0,5l bottle @ home:
Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly funky sour-ish fruity, citrus peel, soda powder, minerals, fruit salt, grass, winegum, brett, herbs, fruit stones, spices. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, soda powder, fruit salt, minerals, grass, citrus acid, hay, sour fruits, fruit stones, brett, sap, tiny hints of grassy chili. Medium bitterness, slightly sour-ish watery mouthfeel, low carbonation, hints of a weak chili burn far back. Fair enough.

I think mine bottle was infected because some bandage aromas are noticeable. Very wild in aroma in tastr i think only tamarind from additions is feelable. Very average
