Malice is the land between sour beer and Brett beer. The beer was brewed with over 100 pounds of tamarind, blood orange, and lime zest. Dirty straw orange in color, its bursting with earthy funky tartness and finishes with heavy citrus skin and tart citrus. The land between is so good!

500ml bottle. Tart blood orange aroma with notes of funky Brett, lime and chiles. Pours cloudy orange colored with a nearly non-existent white head that has no retention or lacing. Starts with blood orange and lime citrus with light notes of Brett funk. Finishes dry and very bright with the citrus flavors continuing with some Brett and a little bit of chiles as well. Another nice sour from these guys.

500 ml bottle shared, purchased at Bottles & Bitters at Sloans Lake. Deep orange and slight hazy appearance. Aroma of citrus zest, tart fruits, earth, barnyard funk and toasted grain. Similar flavor, zesty, tart, earthy, fruity and funky with light malt sweetness. Medium body with a hint of chili pepper spice at the finish. Nice.

Pours slightly hazy topaz with a thick and rather persistent ivory head. Aroma is a little wimpy, but promises tart citrus. Flavor delivers zesty citrus - I get notes of lime and orange, as well as tart pear, funk and fresh malt. Mouthfeel offers typical body and effervescence, and a touch of dusty hops in the finish. Malice in the Palace.

Amber / orange body with a thin cap. Aromas of blood orange and lime definitely stand out. Margarita-like notes. Caramel maltiness with a blend of sweet and sour tones. A tad vinous. Different, unique, interesting.

Bottle, hazy golden with medium white head. Nose and flavor are lactic acid and buttermilk cheese. Really awful one from Wicked Weed which is surprising since I enjoyed most of the other WW I have tried in the last year or so.

Draft at the brewery taproom during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. Acetic berries in the nose, hints of vinegar. Medium sweet flavour, with bracing tartness, citrusy tang, light vinegar. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes tart, moderately acetic. Pretty clean and drinkable.

Bottle shared by a friend. Pours clear amber with a fuzzy off-white head. Aroma of sourness, malt and citrus. Sour fruit flavor, kind of like Sweet Tarts, giving way to some orange before a sour finish.

Bottle @ home. Bright orange pour with a white head. Tart cherry and raisin on the nose. Lots of orange, a little bit of funk, and citrus. Sort of earthy and tangy. There is a good bit of sourness to the flavor. Citrus peel, some citrus zest, and tangy tamarind. A little earthy.

a sweet murky thick bretty amber ale. Nothing sour in there, the brett def needs some time to develop. Will be cool to see what happens with this.
