3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Growler that I bought for TURDFERGSON, which he then generously shared with me. Nose of lovely citrusy hops; some resin and skunk as well. Just mad freshness. Taste is slightly thin, as expected, but still full of flavor. Extra points for clocking in under 5%. I could (and hopefully will) drink a lot of this.
amber color; floral hop aroma; light, floral hop flavor with some citrus notes; light bodied; light, bready malt onceblind (9630) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 12, 2017
Clear light golden with a sticky spotty white head. Nice leafy piney nose with a touch of herbal tones like patchouli. Crisp pale malt flavor that’s slightly crackery save for the ale yeast background, a crisp grassy bitter hoppy flavor with a slight citrus peel nuance. Balanced, semi dry and golden with a bright grassy hop body. jgb9348 (6250) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JUN 5, 2017
Light golden coloured body with a very thin, off-white head, only a centimetre tall. Aroma of grassy and very herbal hops with some light sweetness noticeable as well. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal flavours at first with some mellow malts noticeable along with a bit of a citrusey and resinous kick near the end, all still relatively easy-to-drink. Aftertaste shows some herbs, a bit of perfumey notes and a smooth light hop character that is relatively well-balanced by the malt. Overall, a good APA with some nice characteristics, but nothing mind-blowing or worth searching out. Nice to sample, but I wouldn’t try it again. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Beverage in Thornton, Colorado a few hours earlier on 04-June-2017 for US$2,77 sampled in my hotel room in Fort Collins, Colorado on 04-June-2017. lamas (1636) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 12, 2017
Can. Canned: 02/22/17. A hazy pale amber pour with a thick off-white head. Grapefruits, citrus rinds, resiny pine, caramel, a some doughiness dominate the aroma. Goes down relatively thin to medium-bodied. Sweet cereal grains, caramel, and a doughiness upfront taste-wise. Grapefruits and citrus rinds at the tail-end. Hints of tropical fruits. Just a tad spicy. Decent. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 5, 2017
Bottle. Pours a clear light gold body with a small fizzy white head. The nose is light tropical, citrusy, and slightly dank hops with a clean pale malt base. The flavor is much the same, a pretty standard APA, a bit of sweetness, but not a ton, nice bright and crisp hoppiness with a light bitterness level. Light bodied with soft fizzy carbonation and a clean finish. Nice APA. Purchased pre-acquision, just in case someone comes and tries to take my beer geek card away!

12 oz single can from Molly’s Spirits. Clear golden appearance with a fluffy white head and active carbonation. Aroma of citrus fruit, zesty hops, flowers and toasted grain. Similar flavor, adding mild hop bitterness and a light bready sweetness. Medium body with a crisp, clean feel and a smooth, light dry finish. Solid. Pours bright light orange hue with a small soapy white head and good lacing. Nose is herbal lots of floral hops like spicy aspect as well. Flavors are very balanced actually. Lots of pale toasted grains subtle hop spice and floral notes. Very dry finish mostly from the malt. Very nice brew! thegreenrooster (4396) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - MAR 29, 2017
Pour is a hazy golden with a large white head. Aroma is a big blast of citrus hops. Lots of mango and pineapple. Flavor is again lots of fruit hops. More mango and pineapple with maybe some guava. After the swallow nothing is left on the tongue. This pale ale is more hoppy than probably 60% of the IPA’s I have had recently. Nice stuff and at only 5.2% this is something you could have a lot of and not get tired of. zoucrew102 (1869) - - MAR 6, 2017
Can. Tropical fruit aroma with notes of biscuity malt and pine resiny hops. Pours clear golden colored with a large, soapy white head that has excellent retention and some lacing. Starts with bright tropical fruit flavors with some biscuity malt. Finishes smooth and a touch dry with a slight amount of bitter pine resiny hops. Pretty nice pale.
