Clear medium red - orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, tart, berry, date, wod, sharp blackberry. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart berry, wood, fruity malt, caramel, medium dry, dates, blackberry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20160819]

Draft at the brewery during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours clear, deep gold with a creamy head. Great stuff, very well balanced, with moderate acidity, pleasant dried fruits, berries. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Balanced finish, acidic and quenching. Solid.
