Draft at the brewery taproom during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours clear, pale yellow with a creamy, white head. The nose holds dry wheat and hints of sweat. Light sweet flavour with notes of mellow lemon meringue, biscuits, wheat and straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation and massaging texture. Sweet finish with more biscuits and wheat, mild citric lemon and a little bitter hay. Nice one. jackl (8300) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 5, 2014
Sample @ Wicked Weed. Gold pour with a small head. Strong persimmon accents on the nose. Mellow summery citrus. Honeyed earth, dirty peaches. Taste is similar. Light tartness, a touch of dry wood. Orange meat. Some herbal accents. Light body, soft carbonation. phaleslu (10553) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 27, 2014
Draft at the brewery. Pours a semi-cloudy pale gold color with a white head. Notes of dandelion, persimmon, wheat, coriander, lemon, and dough. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a wheaty mouthfeel. Not a whole lot to say, just a good Belgian wit. GT (10002) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 25, 2014

>> Thanks MaxxDaddy for the share. Pours a clear gold, great foam. Nice retention. Nose is fresh dough, honey, Blue Moon style coriander, lemon, macro lager-ish corn. Taste is big spice, anesthetic, sticky sugar, slight paper. Palate is stickier, sweet, no persimmon really which to me is a sweet maple flavor, but maybe that is what is making this beer too sweet for style.
Taster on tap at Wicked Weed during RBWG. Clear orange red looking color. Thin off-white head. Good thicker ropes of lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, lighter kind of soft carbonation. More dry finish. Good light zesty sweet taste, moderate bitter taste. Tropical and citrusy fruity hop aroma, some light banana, belgian yeast. An awesome full bodied wit. A bit darker for the style, though. Nice chocolate nutty notes.. Tasty, but weird for a wit.

RBWG14 Trip Rating #91. Draft at the downstairs taproom. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a medium sized frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of dry fruit, dry bread and herbaceous notes. The taste is dry fruits and pale bready malts. Medium bodied, dry overall, fairly nice. chinchill (5226) - South Carolina, USA - FEB 10, 2014
Served on tap at the brewpub.
Feel: style appropriate light body with medium to medium+ carbonation.
Taste: Fruity with (I think) persimmon. More biscuit flavor emerges in the finish and aftertaste.
Aroma: spicy and fruity with a distinctive (persimmon?) aspect and a hint of light malts. jtclockwork (17101) - , New Jersey, USA - FEB 9, 2014
Draft at brewpub. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Nose and taste of orange peel, persimmon, banana, clove and wheat malt. Lighter medium body. Ferris (16300) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 9, 2014
Draft - Honey and grass with a bit of spice. Pale gold with a beige head. Grass, honey and a bit of spice and a light clean bitterness. Strykzone (7582) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - FEB 8, 2014
Glass at the brewery. Light hazing in this golden beer. A nice white head. A wit aroma that is soft as is the flavor. This would make for a good starter beer which is what I had it as. There is gentle fruit and the persimmon is light. Bitterness is kind of dry but also very soft. A good morning beer.
