At the brewery, and then taken home in a growler. Wow, this beer was good. Pours impossibly bright hazy gold, with tiny tea remnants swirling about at times. Nose is a bit diaper-funky at first, but the fruit notes come through, as does the saison yeast and the Sorachi Ace-like hop characteristic. Some lemon and lemon grass. Nice balance of sweet and dry. So unique and yet still so drinkable. Hope this is still available when I return in two weeks.
Part of a (free) flight at the brewery. Aroma of lemongrass, coriander, and fruit. magsinva (1493) - Virginia, USA - DEC 20, 2016
Tap @ Wicked Weed - Pours clear old gold, with a white head. Rice, lemongrass, and tropical fruits mildly bitter and dry finish. The beer really coats the tongue. Nice! DiarmaidBHK (6137) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 20, 2016
Draft at Wicked Weed. Pours golden with a white head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Fairly big green tea notes on the nose. Nice balance between the tea elements and the funky horse blanket saison thing. Finished clean. Another lovely saison from these guys. Poured a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma was yeasy, spices and tea. Flavor similar, dry, eh. slowrunner77 (13204) - Reno, Nevada, USA - APR 5, 2016
Interesting brew. Tea influence is light to moderate, but definitely there. Pleasantly herbal, dry and crisp.

Tap at brewery. Pours clear yellow/gold. Huge aromatics of wheat, floral notes, tropical fruit, lemon peel, and light tea. Flavor is fruity and delicious with soft sweetness from what?s a mostly dry malt base along with faint tea notes and a touch of hops. Light/medium body. snoworsummer (6273) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - SEP 3, 2015
Draft at Wicked Weed. Pours opaque gold with a fizzy white head. Tastes like herbs, tea leaves, some citrus, bready and cracker malt. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like musky grains, citrus, herbs, and bready malt. DedicatedToFun (4003) - Santa Monica, California, USA - JUN 7, 2015
Tap, gold pour, white head, nose and taste are both tea, grassy, barnyard, good jcr (2784) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - APR 30, 2015
Draft. Golden body with a frothy white head. Aroma of lemongrass, toasted grain, raw grain, lightly earthy, lightly musty. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter and lightly acidic. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Taste of tea, lemon, citrus and dried papaya with a light tartness in the finish. Dry. A nice, fruity, interesting Belgian. woodychevy (874) - - APR 26, 2015
On tap at Funkatorium. Interesting but not my favorite. Pours a light hazy yellow with a white head. Tea adds an astringent note that is a bit much. I get the tropical flavors, but ends up with the tea dominating- so the coconut, lemongrass, saison notes somewhat faded. Finishes bitter and somewhat herbal. Soft mouthfeel. Points for originality.
