Growler from the brewery that I finally opened 2 weeks later. Pours a hazy bright light gold with a soft white head. "Green" was the first thought on the nose. Green hop aroma with spicy hay and grass up front with some light resin notes. Also got some fruity bubble gum notes that popped up as well. Big kick of saison yeast as well. Light and refreshing, but still big on flavor.
On tap at WW. Hazy straw gold pour, right in line with the other saisons I’ve tried from these folks. Crisp carbonation settles into a nice, appropriately lively brew with spotty lacing and an overall elegant appearance. The base qualities of their saisons are right in my wheelhouse, spicy and dry, and the dry-hopping accentuates what’s already a good thing. Modest hops, occasionally grassy, but with an emphasis on earthiness and fragrant spice. Very good, as usual. aracauna (3585) - Georgia, USA - JUN 25, 2013
Hazy pale yellow. Big flavor, but slightly light body. Good that way. Big grassy hops are really good here. DiarmaidBHK (4785) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 10, 2013
Draft at brewpub. Pours yellow with a thin white head. Nice citrus notes on the nose. The dry hopping really brings out the farmhouse vibe on the tongue. Dries nicely on the finish. Another solid Wicked Weed production. NachlamSie (3465) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 3, 2013
Growler. Given this is a dry hopped beer from hop masters Wicked Weed, I had high expectations for this. It is another deliciously crafted beer, but not the dank hop bomb that most of their offerings with any suggestion of hops in the title are. This one has a little citrus bite over the herbal barnyard aroma and flavor. There are hints at banana and hay. Everything is very clean and balanced like all the Wicked Weed beers. First time I haven’t been just blown away by these guys, only because of the hop expectations .

Bright Yellow, but also a bit cloudy. Very herbal aroma - like, I get oregano, basil and rosemary. Stuff like that, plus some woody notes. Flavor is also herbal and woody, with some sticky pine notes, too. There is also a hint of sweetness, as well. Very tasty.
