2015 bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow from the bottle with bubbly white head that dissipates quickly to leave light lace. Aroma of musty oak notes, white wine grapes, and lactic acidity. Taste is even more of the acidity and grapes, less of the oak, like a tart white wine. This would be a great bridge for wine drinkers into sour beer.

Pours golden with no head. The aroma is sour, apples, cider, fruity. The flavor is wine, cider, some earthyness. The body is very dry, leaving tart flavor in mouth.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured a clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate to heavy sour and grape wood aroma. Medium to full body with a sticky tingly texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sour flavor with a medium to heavy sweet & sour finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer.

2015 Vintage
Gusher bottle. Tasted on 5/13/16 from a capped 375mL bottle from Wicked Weed. Pours hazy, dark golden with a thick, fizzy white head that quickly recedes to a very thin collar of lace. The nose is really great, plenty of funky tart citrus, very vinous, actually smells like Riesling, floral, with a dusty light malt aroma. The flavor is nicely tart, the same, funky vinous citrus, more difficult to distinguish the Riesling specifically, and just a bit more of the dusty malt. The body is medium with lively, fizzy carbonation, some tannic texture, and a long tart, high acid, and funky finish.

500 ml bottle first tasted at a bottle share, this is from one I shared with the group from notes. Pours a clear golden color with a thin off white film. The aroma and flavor have tart/sour citrus, vinous character, wood, Brett, white wine, acidic, apple skins, cider like at times, light pithy character, a solid drinking beer, enjoyable.

Bottle (500 ml) at tasting. Thanks to Simon for sharing this one! Slightly hazy golden with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is musty and winey with an interesting mild funk presence. There’s mild sugary notes, but it’s not sweet and it finishes dry. I also get some pineapples, mostly in the aroma but also in taste, probably from the white wine. Medium body. Very tasty stuff.
