Aroma of caramel, citrus, floral hops and malt, pours a dark copper color with an off white head. Bitter taste of malt and citrus with a watery feel and a bitter finish. kchampagne (173) - Jacksonville, Florida, USA - DEC 1, 2016
Poured from the bottle an amber color with a tan head. Light hop aroma with caramel and toasted malt. Slightly sweet malty flavor with a good bitterness and caramel. Definitely tasty. Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 8, 2016
Sampled at WW upstairs (5/17/15). Nice hop aroma with caramel and toffee notes. Medium coppery amber clear with thin head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Nice caramel flavor, with a bitter hoppy finish and some spicy rye after. rdixon77 (2763) - Georgia, USA - MAR 31, 2016
Thanks Carl! Solid, not amazing red IPA. The brett version elevates this beer a ton. Ether way, nice solid caramel body, plenty of piney and dank hops. Some grapefruit aspects. Not bad. drowland (8629) - Georgia, USA - MAR 21, 2016

I’ve found few beers that I enjoy more than this one. Pours a dark amber with a two plus finger head. Nice lacing. Mouthfeel and taste are just outstanding. drfabulous (7816) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - DEC 24, 2015

Reddish color with a thick off white head. Assume is piney hops. Flavor is pine hops with big semi sweet malt in the finish. Bittersweet finish. chinchill (4939) - South Carolina, USA - DEC 2, 2015
330 ml bottle served in a lager glass. Label describes this as a red IPA at 7% ABV and displays a bottled date of 23 Sept. 2015.
Looks as expected and as hoped: reddish amber body with visible carbonation topped with a very durable light tan head that leaves patterned lacing.
Aroma & Flavor: Closer to an IPA than to a typical amber, this does have low bitterness for an IPA. The flavor is quite a bit more malty than a typical IPA. The hops create suggestions of citrus fruits and spruce trees in the aroma.
Feel: near full bodied with soft, medium+ carbonation. Nicely smooth yet lively.
